Sérsniðið skjáborð (e. Custom Dashboard)

Skjáborðið í Scite gera þér kleift að fylgjast með tilvísunum og tengdum upplýsingum yfir hópa fræðigreina með því að nota gögn úr snjalltilvísunum (e. Smart Citations). Þessi skjáborð geta hjálpað þér að svara spurningum eins og:

  • Hversu margar styðjandi, andmælandi og hlutlausar tilvísanir hópur greina hefur fengið

  • Hversu margar ritstjórnarathugasemdir (t.d. afturköllanir eða leiðréttingar) hafa verið gerðar við þær

  • Hvernig Scite vísitala (e. Scite Index) breytist yfir tíma

  • Hvaða greinar eru mest vitnaðar – og á hvaða hátt – með flokkandi og síanlegri töflu

Búa til sérsniðið mælaborð

Til að búa til mælaborð, farðu í flipann Product og smelltu á Create Dashboard.

Þú getur byggt mælaborð með því að:

  • Flytja inn bókasafnið þitt úr Zotero

  • Flytja inn bókasafnið þitt úr Mendeley

  • Slá inn DOI-númer handvirkt (aðskilin með kommu)

  • Hlaða upp CSV-skrá með DOI-númerum (engin haus, aðeins kommaaðskilin DOI)

Ábending: Þú getur flutt út leitarniðurstöður úr Scite eða PubMed sem CSV-skrá, afritað DOI-númerin og búið til skjáborð með þeim.

Athugið: Þegar flutt er inn úr Zotero eða Mendeley þarftu að skrá þig inn og veita lesaðgang að bókasafninu þínu. Þú getur síðan valið möppur eða einstakar greinar.

 

Yfirlit yfir skjáborðið

Þegar þú hefur búið til skjáborð færðu aðgang að eftirfarandi upplýsingum:

  • Grunngögn um mælaborðið: nafn og lýsing

  • Virkja tilkynningu (e. Set Alert) til að fá tilkynningar í tölvupóst þegar nýjar tilvísanir birtast í greinum innan mælaborðsins

Samantektartölur:

  • Heildarfjöldi greina í skjáborði

  • Fjöldi styðjandi, andmælandi og hlutlausra tilvísana

  • Fjöldi ritstjórnarathugasemda

  • Scite-vísitala fyrir 2 ár, 5 ár og frá upphafi

Tímaritslínurit (e. Trend graph)

  • Sýnir hvernig Scite vísitalan (e. Scite Index) breytist yfir tíma

Dæmi: Eftirlit með COVID-19 greinum í Nature

  1. Leitaðu í Scite: Leitaðu að „COVID-19“ í tímaritinu Nature

  2. Flytja út niðurstöður: Smelltu á Export CSV (allt að 1.000 niðurstöður)

  3. Afrita DOI-númer: Afritaðu DOI-númer úr CSV-skránni

  4. Búa til mælaborð: Farðu í Create Dashboard, límdu inn DOI og sendu inn

  5. Skoða og greina: Skoðaðu tilvísanatölfræði, þróun og fáðu tilkynningar um uppfærslur

Dashboards in Scite allow you to track citation activity and metadata across groups of papers using Smart Citation data. These dashboards can help you answer questions like:

  • How many supporting, contrasting, and mentioning citations a group of papers has received

  • How many editorial notices (e.g. retractions or corrections) they’ve received

  • How their scite Index changes over time

  • Which articles are most cited (and in what way), using a sortable and filterable table

Creating a Custom Dashboard

To create a dashboard, go to the Product tab and click Create Dashboard.

Input Methods

You can build a dashboard by:

  • Importing your Zotero library

  • Importing your Mendeley library

  • Entering a comma-separated list of valid DOIs manually

  • Uploading a CSV file with DOIs (no headers, just comma-separated DOIs)

Tip: Export your search results from Scite or PubMed as a CSV, copy the DOIs, and create a dashboard with them. See the Example section below.

Note: Zotero/Mendeley import requires you to log in and grant read-only access to your library. You'll then be able to select folders or specific papers.

 

Dashboard Overview

Once created, a custom dashboard provides:

  • Dashboard metadata: name and description

  • A Set Alert bell icon to receive email updates when any paper in the dashboard gets a new citation

  • Summary counts for:

    • Total papers in the dashboard

    • Supporting, contrasting, and mentioning citations

    • Editorial notices

    • scite Index (2-year, 5-year, and all-time)

  • Trend graph showing how the scite Index changes over time

  • Article table with citation counts per paper, sortable by:

    • Citation type (supporting, contrasting, etc.)

    • Title (with quick access to each paper’s Scite report)

Example Workflow: Tracking COVID-19 Articles in Nature

  1. Search in Scite: Search for “COVID-19” in the Nature journal

  2. Export results: Click Export CSV (up to 1,000 results)

  3. Copy DOIs: From the CSV, copy the DOIs to your clipboard

  4. Create Dashboard: Go to Create Dashboard, paste in the DOIs, and submit

  5. View and explore: Analyze citation metrics, trends, and get alerts
