Fjærverur / Telepresence devices

Stúdentum gefst kostur á að mæta í fjærveru ef umsjónarkennari heimilar notkun á fjærveru í kennslustund en boðið er upp á tvær mismunandi gerðir:

Open

iPad - BEAM

• BEAM fjærveru, sem notandi keyrir um svæði háskólans.

• iPad á standi sem sem samnemendi sækjir og kemur í skólastofu.
  
  

Students have the opportunity to attend via telepresence if the course instructor allows its use in class. Two different types are offered:

• BEAM telepresence robot, which the user operates to move around the university premises.

• iPad on a stand, which a fellow student retrieves and brings to class.

Bóka fjærveru / Booking a Telepresence Device

• Fáið leyfi frá umsjónarkennara, sem heimilar notkun á fjærværu í kennslustund.

• Takið skjáskot af leyfinu.

• Skráið ykkur inn á hjalp.unak.is og sendið inn beiðni fyrir fjærveru, gott er að taka fram hvort þið viljið iPad eða BEAM fæjrveru.

• Kennslumiðstöð hefur samband í gegnum beiðnakerfið og staðfestir bókun ef tímarnir sem þú óskar eftir eru lausir og sendir þér nánari leiðbeiningar um hvað þarf að gera.
  
  

• Get permission from your supervisor allowing the use of a remote entity in class.

• Take a screenshot of the approval.

• Log in to hjalp.unak.is and submit a request for a remote entity. Make sure to specify whether you want an iPad or a BEAM telepresence robots.

• The Teaching Center will contact you through the request system to confirm the booking if the requested time slots are available and will provide further instructions on what needs to be done.
